Greenspan: No McCain tax cuts without reduction

McCain has said that he would offset his proposed cuts — including reducing the corporate tax rate and eliminating the Alternative Minimum Tax that has plagued middle-class families — by ending congressional pork-barrel spending, unnecessary government programs and overhauling entitlement programs such as Medicare and Social Security.

Palin lauds Hillary ticket

Alaska Governor Palin praised Senator Clinton in the second part of her first TV interview since pairing with Republican presidential nominee John McCain. Mrs Palin said of Senator Clinton: "What determination, and grit, and even grace through some tough shots that were fired her way - she handled those well."
